Illini Solar Car

Below are images of some of my project highlights from Illini Solar Car. I have been a member of the mechanical team all 3 semesters I have been at UIUC. I have helped create the top shell, display the car at the Chicago Auto Show, design and manufacture the next generation dashboard, and most recently, I am leading new members on repairing the brake system for our 3rd generation car while I do an overhaul of the system for our new 4th generation car.

Our 3rd generation car, Calypso, recently raced in the American Solar Challenge across the United States, where it placed fourth after driving over 1500 miles!
