About Me

Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

I grew up in Boulder, Colorado on a homestead where I attended a STEM preparatory high school. There I learned about engineering and expanded my skills while I gained valuable work experience. I am now in my third semester of studying mechanical engineering, and I am throwing myself into my studies and getting involved on campus. I am a member of Triangle Engineering Fraternity, a member of Illinois Solar Car, and have been taking rigorous course loads in order to jumpstart my skills as an engineer. I have been involved in many projects for Illini Solar Car (see page above) and maintained a high academic standing, while I continue to look for more ways to explore my passions. I find my motivation in Ocean Engineering, exploration, sustainability, and mechanical engineering and projects, and while develop my professional portfolio, I am staying active in my personal life. I enjoy hiking, traveling, fishkeeping, and networking, and I strive to balance my life to become the best version of myself I can be.
